Who We Are

The Snohomish County Medical Society (SCMS), founded in 1940, is a professional association of physicians throughout Snohomish County who are dedicated to addressing local health issues of concern to their patients and their profession. We are a subsidiary of the Washington State Medical Association (WSMA) and are affiliated with the American Medical Association (AMA). Through the Snohomish County Medical Society physician members can collectively address the health needs of our community. Nearly 450 physician members support the services made available to the Snohomish County area.

Physician membership in the Medical Society assures you that your doctor has completed the appropriate educational and training activities and is a fully licensed physician in the State of Washington. You may also be assured that your physician is active in continuing the high quality of medical care available in Snohomish County. Mission Statement
